Messages in a Bottle/Genie in a Bottle

I keep getting negative messages, supposedly from Ellen DeGeneres, coming up I didn't think of later.  I thought she was supposed to be nice, not evil.  She will just act like she didn't do it after it happened.  It was still like she did it.
